Journey in Love and RSHE

Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) is taught throughout the school from Reception to Year 6. Our Relationships and Sex Education programme is primarily delivered through  A Journey in Love, a curriculum approved by the Bishops of England and rooted in Catholic values and teachings.

To support pupils' personal, social and emotional development, we deliver a PSHE curriculum using  the JIGSAW programme. Together, these approaches help children develop emotional literacy, foster positive relationships, and enhance their overall wellbeing. The health education element of RSHE is taught through our PSHE curriculum and is further reinforced through Science and PE lessons, providing pupils with a broad and balanced understanding of how to stay safe, healthy and active.
