Catholic Life and Mission

TO DO THE LITTLE THINGS WELL AND TO DO THEM WITH LOVE

At St Theresa’s, our Catholic faith is at the heart of everything we do. Inspired by St Thérèse of Lisieux, we encourage every member of our school family to follow Jesus by doing small things with great love.

Our mission shapes our relationships, our curriculum and the choices we make each day. Through prayer, service and Catholic Social Teaching, our children learn to recognise the dignity of every person, care for God’s creation and use their gifts to make a positive difference in our school, parish, local community and wider world.

This page celebrates the many ways in which our children and staff live out our mission through faith, love and action.

The Little Way Award

Each week, class teachers select a child who has shown through their words, choices or actions that they are living out our school mission: “To do the little things well and to do them with love.” Inspired by St Thérèse’s Little Way, the award celebrates the everyday acts of kindness, care, service, forgiveness and love that make a positive difference to others. The selected children receive a special certificate following our Friday Celebration of the Word, allowing the whole school community to recognise and celebrate their example.
