Catholic Life, 2025
At St Theresa’s, our Catholic faith guides everything we do. Rooted in our mission “to do the little things well,” we strive to create a nurturing community where every child grows in faith, kindness and service. We believe that small acts of love, carried out with care, can make a big difference.
Charity is a vital expression of our Catholic life. Through fundraising, acts of service and supporting those in need, our pupils learn that even the simplest gestures can bring hope and help to others. By doing the little things well, our staff, children and families put their faith into action and help to build a more compassionate world.
MacMillan Coffee Afternoon
On Wednesday 15th October, we held our annual Coffee Afternoon to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support. It was a lovely afternoon where our families joined together to enjoy treats in the school hall while generously supporting the work of the charity.
St Helens Food Bank Collections
Year 4 invited us to take part in our annual autumn collection for St Helen's Foodbank. Thank you to all who donated and supported our local foodbank!
CAFOD
On Friday 24th October, we held a 'Brighten up for Harvest' celebration in school. We dressed as brightly as we could and made donations which were sent to CAFOD to support our global neighbours who are in need.
Poppy Appeal
This November, we remembered and we honoured the Armed Forces Community by supporting the Royal Legion Poppy Appeal.
Nugent Christmas Toy Appeal
During Advent, our families were very generous and donated money and toys to the Nugent Christmas Toy Appeal. Our head children and some of our school councillors took our donations to the Schools Advent Service at the Metropolitan Cathedral on December 10th. The Archdiocese distribute these to children and young people in the Liverpool City Region.
