Sports Ambassadors 7th December 2023

Year 5/6 Football 20th October 2023

Year 5 and 6 boys took part in the a Liverpool Football Tournament run by Everton FC.

When we arrived at the venue we were met with torrential rain and wind.

The boys played 3 matches and then the organisers decided to call it a day.

Even though the weather was appalling the boys played and conducted themselves really well

Hopefully the tournament will take part later on in the year.

Quadkids 29.06.23

Year 5 and Year 6 took part in a Quadkids event.

They competed in a 75m sprint, 600m distance run, a standing long jump & a vortex throw

The children really enjoyed this event and they all did really well.

Year 5 Football Event 6th February 2023

Year 5 boys took part in another football event at Sutton Academy

They played over 9 games of football.

They played some amazing games of football and each showing off their skills

They finished 2nd in the end just losing out on goal difference. Well played boys.

The whole school took part in a Santa Dash on Friday 9th December.

Saints Foundation World Cup Festival 1st July 2022

Year 6 had the opportunity to take part in theSaints Foundation World Cup Festival.

The children played a number of games of tag rugby throughout the event.

The children played fantastically as a team and showed great sportsmanship.

The played so well they came away with the Saints Foundation World Cup Festival trophy.

A special mention to Evie who was awarded the player of the festival.

An amazing achievement for Evie and a great achievement for all who took part. Well done!!

Quadkids 30th June 2022

Year 5 and 6 children took part in a Quadkids event.

Everyone who too part showed great determination and gave it their all.

Well done to each and every one of you.

Matthew achieved 12s in the 75m sprint, Callum got 13.4, Daniel got 14.4 and Noah got 16s.

Everyone who participated needed to complete a 75m sprint, a 600m long distance run,

a standing long jump and a Vortex howler throw.

Evie ran 11s flat in her 75m sprint, making her the fastest out of all the girls

who competed.

Eloise got a time of 12.5 seconds for the 75m sprint.

Libby came in at 13.2seconds and Scarlett 14 seconds. well done girls!

Eloise threw the vortex howler a distance of 33.7.

Matthew threw the vortex howler a distance of 33.9.

600m run

Evie also won her heat in the 600m with a time of 2m 11 seconds.

Scarlett came 7th in the 600m.

Well done to all athletes you did yourself proud.

Merseyside Youth Games - Netball 28th June 2022

National Sports Week - School Fun Run 24th June 2022

As part of National Sports Week the school decided to organise a fun run.

The children could complete as many laps of the playground either running or walking.

Every year group took part.

Everyone who did take art got a medal.

Well done St. Theresa's.

National Sports Week 20th - 26th June - Commonwealth Games.

As part of National Sports Week Year 5 took part in the Commonwealth games.

This was held at Sutton Academy.

Each school had been allocated a country to compete for.

St.Theresa's were flying the flag for Tanzania.

The children took part in lots of different activities throughout the session.

The activities ranged from Caber tossing.

They all had a great time and they all enjoyed participating in all activities.
